This mug has a silver overlay decorated rim and handle. It is from 1914 in Atlanta, and is decorated with a rendition of the first bars of Dixie Land on one side and a rat wearing a Fez-style hat on the other side. It is from DeLan and McGill of Trenton New Jersey, for Davis and Freeman. This mug is 4 5/8 inches tall and has no chips, cracks or repairs. While there is a stress mark in the clear glaze beneath the rat, this wonderful piece is in overall excellent condition.
